Finally I give up

This finally it came, i cant afford myself any more for this after my car crashed.

iMac G4 17 inch flatpanel

Here is my iMac G4 at home, it is in a very perfect working condition, no spot on the screen, and it is full protected by a 17" sreen protector. No scratches on the body, and as when i get iMac it is not coming with the wireless, i had JUST UPGRADE them to following:

Therefore this iMac had already been upgraded to the best working performance for you, you dont have to worry anything else.

The operating system will come with the OS X 10.4 Tiger as it is running very perfect and fast, however, you can ask me to install the OS X 10.5 Leopard for better working performance, and MANY software could be installed if you ask me for it.

Although i am very happy to pack this in safe to ship this to your address by the best currier only in the Britain, this is quite heavy and big, so it will charge me about 50 pounds to deal all the packaging and Delievery. Therefore, the best solution is if you could come to my place, i am located in the Great Reading Area, not too far away for people around me. However i will be happy to send it by post, and insurance will be charged if you needed. (and i may need to quote the charge for it.)

Windows Vista SP1 - taste of a crab

It seems the SP1 should be due for the date, 22nd april which we have been told before. Not like the Mac, M$ is running a very unlike way to release its product. The Mac had running off the 5 versions since 2000 (Ref:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_os), almost every 1 and half year for new edition, which we always been told "a phenomenon change." BUT? I will do it later to explain this BUT.

the XP is released on 2001, xp means the experience, more or less, people do agree with this. Rather than the complaining the coping the GUI from the MAC (more or less that time.) This isnt push the users out of the range, maybe, this is because people are waiting for the "phenomenon change". the Windows 98 was bring a huge of issues that even the M$ was finding a way to escape that black hole. The XP brings this, security (somehow), more beautiful, clear. All thanks to the new technology as well at that time, the XP stimulate the Memory market, the graphic somehow, and the Harddrive - actually, every time once the new windows released.

Since then, the SP2 brings the second time of stimulation in 2004, people imagine it as new fresh of windows. Actually it is, newer and better security did protect people from the virus and pop-ups, but we did find a life surrounding by the antivirus and firewall protection, then brings time and time for upgrading and paying money for the software which we dont know why we have to, just like a infant taking pills all the days.

Then, chinese new year, 30th JAN 2007, almost 4 or 5 years after since i first install the Longhorn. The vista borned in everywhere, ppl in this really exciting for this release, totally new fresh GUI, totally copied from the MAC OS - ppl argued. Everyone trusted M$, the memory companies promoted the memories, incase of the next stimulation, so does the Intel (they always), hard drivers (1TB suddently coming out, 320GB comes even lower than 40GBP now.) This certainly broke everyone's heart. Slow running, stupid UAC, copy files even slower, none use of the super fetch, no big change, issues of compatible of other softwares. People drops the Vista, as the apple says, the new buyers of Leopard is same as the ppl backgrade to XP.

Sadly, the SP3 for XP isnt a big upgrade, you wont be excited once upgrade, it what i heard, course M$ dont wanna let the XP make Vista lose the battle again further. Furthermore, my laptop with XP installed, was facing the bluescreen again and again. No good to keep working with a system that you have to destory your worthy laptop, recovery to the Vista.

And the news from Mobile01.com, saying the Vista SP1 is now ready for you to download. No BIG CHANGE, for ppl like me, surfing, chating, listening to the music. Transfering files getting little better, should say, i feel no different from the XP. and others? more software wont compatible. Crack is there, works as fine as the former one, low speed is no change since ever windows released, no more blue screens, or i havent seen yet?

it is not the best speed, this directory containing a lot of small files, the speed is not bad here, but it had reached 14mb or even better

Disassembly of the iPod

To be honest, I ve used this iPod almost 4 years, it seems the destiny for this happened such a day. First, bought an iPod mini for 80 quid which should be given a 70 quid cash back claim, but finally failed, and if kept it for ...? Second, colour screen with high resolution, and video playback, pictures, more games. Third, battery life enormously went down since i get - which now it only takes about 1hr to run the music, it is annoying me to drop my old one. Scratches and dents, is it somehow showing I am not a careful user? NO, I AM not, I kept this well using about 4 years, ppl don’t use any electronics over 3years. OK, back to the business, first time I was wondering to open the iPod, it was almost 2years ago, two reasons brought it, battery and storage, latter one was not a big deal, since the 20GB was and always very enough for something you can just stores music, and by changing this (as a mobile hard drive, it is another case.) you’ll have to change the motherboard, which charges about $49+p&p, it wont worth though. The battery is the same case, because you wont find a better solution, which means, that will gone again, this is a issue from the apple. (not sure now.) Then I read the instructions, it was simple and easy, and you could purchase the same similar tools from eBay UK (similar, because I still find these tools are not very firm, when I used, it not as good as a Swiss knife tool.- but it did crack my rear panel.) Disassembly isn’t quite difficult after you have that rundown, squeeze the iPod like a sponger – very hard. The steel will be opened from the front plastic panel, used that kind of knife is kind of stupid, but easy and did work somehow, and though, it not looks that bad.

Piliphs chip, should be for some sound decoding, not sure.

Some unnamed of a brand chip, looks like a philips for the cod PH5020E, supporting the previous one?

iMac G4 - Most beautiful ever iMac.

This is what I got for my iMac G4. Main Spec as following:

As the spec shows, it is rarely to be seen, that a full-size system used memory slot combined with a laptop used memory slot. I will confirm this in the following pictures, and it is seems a win-win situation that a all-in-one computer usually to be seen. it may reduce many cost, both the Apple and the customers. Respect to the huge decreasing of the expending on the portable-use memories, this design some time is not really a marked price, but this reduced my wasting of money to bring a momentous improvement on my "new" iMac, as the memory is play a significantly role in the reality.

Oh, BTW, the memory is not as told that can not been upgrade over 1GB, instead the memory can not been added over 4GB as the 32-bit system can not executed memories over 4GB. And i will test this machine with the memory upgraded, obviously the "heart" is not a very handy job, and this will course a very serious problem, so i neither wont do it in the future.

Lay down the iMac with the screen face down, putted some cloth to protect the fragile LCD. Loosed the four captive screws and remove the bottom very easily, note the screws wont come out as they are bind up with the panel.
